2013 Stand Tall Scholars

Chris Duhon and the Stand Tall Foundation honored these five exceptional St. Tammany Parish Public School graduating seniors in May 2013.  These Stand Tall Scholars were each honored with a $5,000 to a 4-year college of their choirce for their academic excellence and outstanding community service.

2013 Graduates receiving scholarships were:

  • Jacob McKay earned a 3.78 GPA as a graduate of Mandeville High School and is currently attending Brigham Young University.

  • Desiree Nicole Williams, is currently attending University of Louisiana Lafayette where she is currently studying.  She is a 2013 graduate of Covington High School with a 3.6 GPA.

  • Christopher Milligan is a graduate of Slidell High School and is currently attending Marymount Manhattan College, New York, NY.

  • Giselle Callahan, graduated from Covington High School, Covington, LA with a 4.39 weighted and 3.94 weighted GPA. She is currently attending University of Louisiana Monroe.

  • Malcolm Blades, is a 2013 graduate of Lakeshore High School, Mandeville, LA.  Mac is currently Louisiana Tech University, Ruston, LA.
